Celeste Prize 2010, 2nd edition.
Is an international contemporary arts prize, in which artists decide who wins the 40,000 € prize money (all finalists will have a share in the awards)! 22 international art critics will select the 50 finalist works which will be exhibited in New York in December 2010.


Live Media & Performance Prize 2010 - € 8,000

Present your Live Audio Visual Performance, VJ set, Live Cinema, all softwares/hardwares accepted, and any kind of live performance. 10 finalist sets will be selected for the prize final which takes place at The Invisible Dog, Brooklyn, NYC, on 11 December.

Digicult, Marco Mancuso (Italy), Eyebeam, Amanda Mc Donald Crowley (USA, Australia), Forward Motion Theater, Eric Dunlap (USA), Isadora and artistic co-director of Troika Ranch, Mark Coniglio (USA), Mapping Festival, Justine Beaujouan (Switzerland), Neural, Alessandro Ludovico (Italy), Claudio Sinatti (Italy).

 

 

Selectors will choose the finalist sets. Celeste Prize 2010 finalists will themselves vote the winner!


The prize

Open to any person practising, whether full or part-time professionals, students and self-taught artists from anywhere in the world. There are no limits for age, sex, experience or qualifications. The prize encourages participation by artists at every level.
