Thanks to the collaboration with some important national and international festival Digicult had the possibility to develop its own specific curatorial projects, that become like formats that were replied in many festivals and exhibitions and become an example of Digicult eclectic curatorial activity.
Exploding Cave is just the last one in order of time, curated for a 2 yas of live sets, screening, workshops and presentation at Cox18 in Milan. +39:Call for Italy” was produced for the Cimatics festival 2007 in Brussels: it is a format that goes from live performances to installations and videoscreenings about the relationships between Audiovisual art and Design with the aim to promote the Italian tradition internationally. Digicult produced the DVD called “Italians do it Better” for the Optronica Festival 2007 of London and the DVD “Visual Muzik” for Dissonanze Festival 2006 of Rome.

With a double reference both to the "existentialist caves" of 1950's Milan and the experimentation of Andy Warhol's "Exploding Plastic Inevitable", "Exploding Cave" is a 2-days event that will be held in Milan on April 17 and 18, in the spaces of Cox18, structured in a series of meetings, workshops and performances that investigate the relationship and the least common denominator that ties cinema, sound, video and digital arts.
