Philosophy and cultural theory of vjing and realtime interaction
Durante l'ultima edizione del festival AVIT UK 05 si è innescato un altissimo livello di dibattito basato sia sulla teoria che sulla pratica del Vjing e delle installazione interattive in tempo reale.
E' stato quindi organizzato il Narrative Lab, un programma di lectures, proiezioni, performances e progetti allo scpo proprio di innescare dibattiti, collaborazioni pratiche e teoriche su vari temi come l'ipertestualità, la meta narrazione, la psico geografia, le estetiche di proiezione, lo strutturalismo, le metodologie di processo e su varie tecniche di produzione digitale.
Questi dibattiti teorici hanno altresì evidenziato la mancanza di testi teoprici su queste tematiche, in grado di soddisfare precise domande; per questo motivo preciso, questo volume sulle pratiche del vjing, cerca di innescare una serie di risposte analitiche relative ai nuovi media.
La particolarità di questo volume Vj Theory è la possibilità per chiunque di partecipare, come in una sorta di testo collettivo. E' infatti questo un invito a inviare una breve sinossi, a proporre un breve articolo o idea allo scopo di essere pubblicato in questo libro.
