Il New York Program Board Performing Arts Commitee ha organizzato per la serata del 2 Febbraio 2005 un'installazione interattiva multisensoriale sinestesica tra suono, colori, luci, tatto e forme. Il tutto ruoterà attorno alla performance live dell'ensamble di musica elettronica Growing.

Il progetto ha coinvolto quindi la band newyorkese Growing allo scopo di creare un ambiente sonoro interattivo, il programmatore Geoff Matters in grado di scrivere un programma capace di tramutare i suoni in colori e l'agenzia di design Mogu allo scopo di completare l'installazione con l'interfaccia di trasformazione tattile inventata dal Shorin Performance Studio.

Risultuato finale: i visitatori possono interagire con l'installazione modificando, attraverso dei pedali analogici da chitarra, i suoni inviati dalla band e i colori collegati sinestesicamente ai suoni stessi. La performance live dei Growing è prevista per le 20.00 e potrà essere seguita sul sito web dell'evento.

Importante in questo progetto la presenza soprattutto di Geoff Matters, fondatore di Share, un collettivo di base a New York di artisti che operano in ambito audio e video, autore di numerose performance interattive nel Usa e in Europa ed è autore del progetto Anyware, concerto in Rete di musica elettronica condivisa e collaborativa.
