L'Associazione Ariella Vidach – A.i.E.P. , pioniera in Italia nella ricerca e nella sperimentazione coreografica in relazione alle nuove tecnologie, presenta dal 10 al 13 novembre 2005 la prima edizione di Danza in MEDIA ta Festival , una manifestazione culturale dedicata alla danza interattiva e alle espressioni artistiche nate dall'incontro tra il corpo e i nuovi media digitali. Il Festival, ideato e curato dalla danzatrice/coreografa Ariella Vidach e realizzato grazie al sostegno del Comune di Milano – Settore Sport e Giovani, avrà sede presso il DiDstudio di Milano ( c/o Fabbrica del Vapore, Via Procaccini, 4), il nuovo spazio dell'Associazione adibito a centro di ricerca, formazione e produzione.

Forte dell'interesse che le nuove generazioni stanno dimostrando verso il settore tecnologico e multimediale, l'Associazione Ariella Vidach – A.i.E.P. intende diffondere ad un pubblico sempre più ampio le produzioni/sperimentazioni delle più interessanti realtà artistiche nazionali ed internazionali operanti nell'ambito delle tecnologie interattive.

La programmazione di questa prima edizione prevede spettacoli di danza e musica interattiva, incontri con artisti internazionali ( Martin Kusch e Marie-Claude Poulin di “ kondition pluriel ”; Steve Buchanan ), videoproiezioni (“ Blush ” , il nuovo film di Wim Vandekeybus ) ed un laboratorio formativo/performativo incentrato sulle potenzialità offerte dal computer quale strumento di crescita espressiva.

All'interno della sezione spettacoli la Compagnia Ariella Vidach – A.i.E.P . presenta in prima assoluta “ Hybridome ”, una produzione dedicata al tema dell'ibridazione come esito dell'incontro tra il reale e il virtuale. Il cartellone propone inoltre “ Viso Mon Amour ” - ultima produzione della fiorentina Company Blu - e “Neon. Ambienti sottopassione”, opera prima di due giovani coreografe, Marta Melucci e Francesca Telli , selezionata alla Biennale Giovani Artisti d'Europa e del Mediterraneo 2005.

Il Festival si conclude con la performance “ 2nd line ” di Steve Buchanan - musicista che propone un concerto di musica interattiva - e la presentazione dei progetti realizzati dai partecipanti al laboratorio coreografico “Il corpo come mouse ”, un ciclo di appuntamenti teorico-pratici organizzato presso il DiDstudio nel corso del 2005.
