E' in rete, presso il sito del media artist Agricola De Cologne e del suo progetto di new media art in rete New Media Art Project (www.nmartproject.net) , il nuovo progetto di webart Tsunami, quarto capitolo (dopo i memorial Victims of Terror, Victims of AIDS e RainForest) del progetto A Virtual Memorial, atto a sensibilizzare i media artist di tutto il mondo verso i temi più importanti e più drammatici del nostro tempo.
Come suggerisce il nome stesso, Tsunami è dedicato alle vittime del tragico maremoto che ha colpito la zona asiatica nel periodo di Natale 2004. Concept portante del progetto è rendere evidente come le forze della natura siano completamente incontrollabili da parte degli uomini. Lo Tsunami in altri termini diventa simbolo dell'inevitabile, rappresentante estremo del destino che sfugge alla volontà dell'uomo che si arrende totalmente alla sua mercè
I media artist sparsi nel globo sono quindi chiamati a riflettere su queste tematiche e a fornire quindi progetti di webart, doumenti, testi, file audio o video o altro materiale che può essere trasformato in file digitale. Il progetto in conclusione sarà pubblicato online e diventerà parte, come installazione itinerante, del progetto [R][R][F]2005--->XP
